Job Description: Studio In-Charge

Zephyr institute is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Studio In-Charge. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of managing all aspects of daily studio operations. This role is crucial to ensuring a smooth, efficient, and inspiring creative environment for our clients and team.

Role Summary:

The Studio In-Charge will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the studio, including equipment maintenance, client scheduling, administrative tasks, and fostering a professional and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, administrative proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Studio Operations & Management:
• Oversee daily studio activities, ensuring a seamless workflow for all projects and sessions.
• Manage the studio calendar, scheduling, and daily activities.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and a professional appearance of the studio space.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Equipment & Inventory Management:
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot all studio equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio gear, computers, and specialized software.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all equipment is present and in good working condition.
• Arrange for repairs or replacements as needed, and manage relationships with vendors.
• Keep abreast of new technology and recommend equipment upgrades.
• Client & Team Support:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met from booking to project completion.
• Provide technical support and assistance to creative teams during sessions.
• Administrative & Financial Tasks:
• Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
• Assist with budget management, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports.
• Manage petty cash and process payments.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Photography, Film Production, Audio Engineering, Arts Management) or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a studio environment, production role, or a similar field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with (list specific equipment, e.g., DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, soundboards, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.), DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools, etc.).
• Strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with studio-specific software and booking systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to extend working hours whenever it is required.
• Comfortable with long periods of standing, walking, and being on-site for sessions.
