Job Description: Computer Vision EngineerAbout the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in image processing, deep learning, and computer vision algorithms, with hands-on experience in deploying real-world applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing vision-based solutions across multiple domains such as object detection, tracking, recognition, and scene understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement computer vision algorithms for tasks such as object detection, tracking, classification, segmentation, and pose estimation.
- Develop and optimize deep learning models (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, Diffusion models, etc.) for vision-related tasks.
- Work with large-scale image/video datasets for training, testing, and evaluation.
- Deploy and optimize models on edge devices, cloud platforms, or embedded systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ML, software, hardware, product) to integrate computer vision solutions into production systems.
- Research and implement state-of-the-art methods in computer vision, ensuring continuous improvements in accuracy and efficiency.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with proper documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer vision and image processing techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy, and scikit-image.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
- Hands-on experience with CNN architectures (ResNet, EfficientNet, YOLO, Faster R-CNN, Mask R-CNN, etc.).
- Experience with data preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation pipelines.
- Knowledge of GPU acceleration, model optimization, and deployment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in 3D computer vision (point clouds, SLAM, depth estimation).
- Knowledge of multimodal AI (vision + language models).
- Familiarity with edge/embedded systems (NVIDIA Jetson, ARM devices).
- Experience with MLOps, Docker, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
