Job Overview :


We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Data bricks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, along with a strong background in data architecture, big data technologies, and cloud platforms. You will be responsible for optimizing our data systems and building efficient data workflows to support our business needs.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design and Develop : Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures using Data bricks on Azure/AWS cloud platforms.


- Data Integration : Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate large datasets from various sources, ensuring data consistency and reliability.


- Performance Optimization : Optimize and tune existing pipelines for performance and scalability, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.


- ETL/ELT Processes : Implement robust ETL/ELT processes using Spark, Data bricks, and other big data tools.


- Data Governance : Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and privacy policies, and implement data quality checks and validation processes.


- Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver accurate solutions.


- Documentation : Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of data pipelines, system architecture, and workflows.


- Automation : Develop automated processes for continuous data integration and deployment of data solutions.


Key Skills & Qualifications :


- Experience : 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Data bricks.


- Big Data Tools : Expertise in Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Azure/AWS Data bricks.


- Cloud Platforms : Solid experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Azure and/or AWS.


- Programming : Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.


- SQL : Advanced skills in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.


- Data Warehousing : Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Azure Synapse, Redshift, or Snowflake.


- Data Modeling : Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.


- ETL Tools : Proficiency in building and managing ETL/ELT workflows.


- Version Control : Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.


- Automation : Experience in automating data processes using tools like Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar.


- Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Nice to Have :


- Experience with Data bricks SQL and Data bricks Delta.


- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and integration with data pipelines.


- Experience in CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions.
