Position title Senior QA Automation Tester (Playwright + TypeScript) Experience Minimum 4+ Years Description Aveosoft Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Playwright (TypeScript) for UI and API automation. The ideal candidate will have an automation-first mindset, a passion for delivering high-quality software, and the ability to design scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API testing using Playwright with TypeScript. Perform end-to-end (E2E) and API automation leveraging Playwright’s request fixtures and auto-wait features. Convert manual test cases into efficient, reusable automation scripts following Page Object Model (POM) principles. Implement and optimize parallel test execution to ensure faster feedback cycles. Create and maintain automation strategy documents, framework setup guides, and test result reports. Analyze and identify root causes of automation failures, capture logs and traces, and link issues to defect management tools. Collaborate closely with the development and QA teams to identify test scenarios suitable for automation, prioritizing based on risk and feasibility. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous testing and reporting. Conduct peer code reviews and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions. Ensure high code quality and framework scalability while maintaining consistent test reliability. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Playwright automation concepts, including POM, test design techniques, auto waits, and hybrid handling (API + UI). Proven experience in E2E and API automation using TypeScript and Node.Js ecosystem. Experience creating automation strategy documentation, framework setup guides, and API contract test documentation. Ability to perform root cause analysis on automation test failures and maintain traceability to defects. Strong understanding of requirement analysis to identify feasible and high-priority test cases for automation. Proficiency in Git-based workflows, including PR reviews and collaborative version control. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar). Exposure to BrowserStack or Sauce Labs for cross-browser automation. Basic understanding of performance testing using Playwright traces.
