Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP for HANA Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP, including strong expertise in SAP HANA. As a Senior SAP ABAP for HANA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications that leverage the capabilities of SAP HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and HANA technologies.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize SAP applications for performance on the HANA platform, leveraging HANA-specific features such as CDS views, AMDP, and HANA SQL.
  • System Integration: Integrate SAP applications with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Testing: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and participate in system testing.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application designs, code, and processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP applications and HANA performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide guidance in best practices, coding standards, and technical skills development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and integrate them into the development process.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with significant experience in SAP HANA.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SAP ABAP and HANA technologies.
    • Strong understanding of SAP HANA-specific features such as CDS views, AMDP, and HANA SQL.
    • Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 is a plus.
    • Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, and CO.
    • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, OData services).
    • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration projects.
