Master Data Administrator

The Master Data Administrator is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of master data within an organization. This role involves ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of master data across various systems and platforms. The Master Data Administrator collaborates with different departments to establish and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures. Additionally, this position involves troubleshooting data issues, implementing data governance strategies, and optimizing data management processes to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain master data records in accordance with established standards and guidelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and security. Perform data cleansing, de-duplication, and validation to ensure high-quality master data. Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify and resolve data issues. Develop and maintain documentation related to master data processes, procedures, and standards. Support data migration, integration, and consolidation efforts across various systems and platforms. Conduct regular audits of master data to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies. Provide training and support to end-users on master data management best practices and tools. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in master data management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in master data management or data administration roles. Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data modeling concepts. Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (e.g., ERP systems, data quality tools, data integration tools). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams and departments. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to data management (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Certification in master data management or related field (e.g., Certified Information Management Professional) is desirable.-
