About the Role: Due to continued growth, Mader Group's Rail Services division are currently seeking High Voltage Locomotive/Rail Electricians to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on either a FIFO 8/8 or 6/6 Roster. This is a FIFO role ex. Perth, flights paid if based interstate. Open to both locomotive experience who have experience working with various classes, makes and models of Locomotives + Electricians looking to break into the Rail industry. Key duties: Scheduled Locomotive and Rolling stock maintenance Diagnostics, fault finding and repairs of Diesel electric Drive systems such as EMD, GE Drive system component diagnostics and repairs Dynamic brake testing and commissioning Electrical Component installation, replacement and repairs Electrical and Mechanical breakdown diagnostics and repairs; including replacements of Traction Motors, Alternators, Engine and Power assemblies, Air Compressors, and Blower motors.
