You are expected to lead development of EV for both passenger and agriculture segments. You will be responsible for identifying suitable technologies, components, validation, certification etc.·
The candidate should have a very detailed knowledge of the components, circuits, criteria, and standards used in the EV for the passenger or agriculture machinery sector.·
Candidate should be able to identify good manufacturers in India, evaluate products, negotiate purchase agreements, and have alternate vendors for every component.·
You must build the team, develop systems, procedures, and make prototypes and plan mass productions.·
The following are some of the requirements and responsibilities. It changes from time to time. You must be flexible to take care of the needs of the Company.Required experience :·
At least 3 years in an EV design/manufacturing company in EV-2-wheeler or EV-agriculture-machinery segment. You must have strong skills in electronics and product development.·
Additionally, you must have customer-interface skill, written and verbal communication, trouble shooting and creative thinking etc.
Education:·
BTech/MTech in Electronics with EV focus
Certification & Compliance Responsibility:1.
Responsible for statutory compliances of components e.g. battery, motor, and whole units e.g. BIS:ISI certifications, CMVR approvals, test reports, drawing compliances and various other requirements as they surface either for export or domestic markets.2.
Working knowledge of various certifications, testing and quality standards is required.
Knowledge Requirement:1.
Development of EV’s electronic & electrical platform e.g., BMS, Controller for motors, selection of motors e.g., BLDC or Hub-motor, PMSM, Poles to match target use and torque requirement.Must be able to design circuits for controllers, DC-DC converters, Auxiliary circuitry, BMS etc.New technologies and vendors for components related to battery, motors, lighting, controls.Make and understand engineering drawings, technical specs and figure out the impact of any changes on the product, quality, field performance and costing etc.Must have working knowledge of transmission systems and gear boxes.Must know various electronic measurement tools used in EV development, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing process.Must be able to identify problems, work with others to conduct root-cause analysis, come up with a good solution, and prevent recurrence of problems from vendors or in factory.

Facilitate the R&D Department in the development of prototypes for new EVs for both passenger and agriculture segments.Feasibility feedback, manufacturability conclusion with suppliers.Rectification in the Components/ Products as per the report of customers, or factory and get the necessary changes done in-house or by vendors.Industry research to find new suppliers, parts, raw materials etc.Always have multiple vendors for each item to avoid supply chain breakdown and for better negotiation.Ensure that parts/products are developed as per engineering drawings and required technical specifications.Also ensure that drawings are kept updated at both vendor and KisanKraft factory.Monitoring of BOM, cost of product, initiate measures to optimize the same. Workout on the Cost Reduction Plans to ensure Quality, Field Performance, Cost Benchmarking.

Must be an established leader and have the capability to lead people of different skills.Must take responsibility for full product, quality, and costing.Work with many other departments e.g., management, sales, spare-parts, accounts, administration, branding, warehouse etc. to improve the performance of the company.You must also be fluent in English to read and understand various documents, work with government agencies all over India, and with our principals abroad.
Travel:
You will need to travel to our factory in Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh; for chassis/body related prototyping issues. You will also need to travel
