Includes a mix of FTEs assigned to the development organization and purchased resources from other lines of business.Forecasts resource needs based on an analysis of both portfolio and projected client spend.Maximizes both utilization and profitability of assigned team of resources’ billable time.Ensures base applications meet appropriate quality standards.Adheres to the departmental application development and client delivery process standards.Provides input on product direction to product managers.Coordinates with industry compliance consultants and product managers to verify applications meet regulatory compliance.Ensures proper application of technology.Ensures base applications meet appropriate quality standards.Other related duties assigned as needed.What you bring:Knowledge / Experience4+ years of relevant experience.Design, code and test major features, and work jointly with other team members to deliver complex areas of functionality under tight deadlines.Document specifications, design areas, test results, and solutions implementedCode corrections for identified defects for new and existing releases of the softwareEnsure compliance with predefined coding best practicesEnsure adherence to processes as required by the projectUpdate the manager of the progress on module, flag risks and issues early on in the processCoordinate with lead programmer(s) and business analyst(s) with focus on effective communication from a delivery perspectiveThe individual may be required to work on multiple areas simultaneously (development, platform releases, installations, conversions, support, training, etc.).Analyses, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.)Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.Participates in software design meetings and analyses user needs to determine technical requirements.Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application.May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and for documenting work and results.May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.Other related duties assigned as needed.
