Role Description FasTutorAI is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our technical team. This full-time remote role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven systems that power the core learning and tutoring experiences on the FasTutorAI platform. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with machine learning, neural networks, and natural language processing. You will work on end-to-end model development—from research and prototyping to optimization and production deployment. You will help architect intelligent features such as adaptive tutoring, content generation, personalized recommendations, and automated assessment systems. This role requires close collaboration with software engineers, product designers, and data specialists to continuously enhance accuracy, scalability, and user experience across the platform. Key Responsibilities AI & Machine Learning Development • Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models to support AI-powered tutoring features. • Develop NLP models and pipelines for text understanding, question generation, summarization, classification, and conversational intelligence. • Implement pattern recognition algorithms to support personalized learning recommendations and behavior analysis. • Conduct error analysis, model debugging, and iterative refinement to improve system accuracy and stability. System Architecture & Engineering • Build scalable, production-ready AI services using modern frameworks and tools. • Integrate AI models with backend systems, APIs, and real-time data flows. • Design and maintain model training pipelines, data preprocessing routines, and evaluation frameworks. • Optimize neural network performance for speed, cost-efficiency, and inference quality. Product & Collaboration • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate educational challenges into intelligent technical solutions. • Contribute to data strategy, including dataset preparation, feature engineering, annotation, and quality control. • Support the development of interactive AI-powered features that enhance learner engagement and outcomes. • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience • Strong understanding of machine learning principles, neural networks, and modern deep learning architectures. • Proven expertise in natural language processing, including transformer-based models, tokenization strategies, and text generation. • Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar. • Solid software engineering fundamentals and experience building production-grade ML solutions. • Knowledge of pattern recognition techniques and statistical modeling. • Experience working with large datasets, data pipelines, and model evaluation metrics. • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Preferred Qualifications • Experience deploying AI models into cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and automated workflows. • Experience building AI-powered education or learning tools.
