Nothing will be too challenging for you to solve as you respond to escalated issues, report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs.You'll be the go-to person for our customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, as well as for customer installations and training. With your passion for technology, you'll provide world-class support that exceeds customer expectations.As Technical Support, you'll perform varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software issues using your technical expertise and available resources to ensure that our customers' issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities:·Installation and configuration of Backup software.·Setting up tape backup devices·Respond quickly and effectively to backup issues and outages.·Creation of reports for both clients and management·Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations for storage Backup support·Experience with Spectrum Protect , Spectrum Protect Plus preferred.·Knowledge Hitachi, Oracle, IBM Storage and EMC arrays preferred.·Experience with Networker, AVAMAR, Netbackup , preferred·Must be detail-oriented with good organization skills·Excellent troubleshooting skills·Knowledge of encryption of the Backup environment preferred.·To provide 24x7 onsite Support.·Good communication skills, Need to participate in client meetings.·Handle regular day to day IT Infra operations.·Working on Service Desk tickets.·Coordinating with IT stake holders to fix the issues.·Participate in internal/external audits to showcase the IT compliance status.·Perform the IT related task and update the status higher management on regularly.·Participating in Day/Weekly status review meetings·Excellent oral and written communication skills·Experience in Storage and Backup tuning and configurations.·Ability to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
