Position: QA Engineer II – Automation

  • Experience: 2 to 5 Years
  • Location: Pune (On-site)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer II – Automation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
  • Hands-on experience in both UI and API automation testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as:

o TestNG

o JUnit

o PyTest

  • Programming skills in Python or Java.
  • Experience with API testing tools like:

o Postman

o Rest Assured

o SoapUI

  • Familiarity with version control tools:

o Git

o Bitbucket

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools:

o Jenkins

o GitHub Actions

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fast learner with a positive, "Can Do" attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as:

o Selenium

o Cypress

o Playwright

o Cucumber

  • Conduct manual testing as needed for edge cases and new features.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Log, track, and manage defects using tools like:

o JIRA

o Bugzilla

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives.
  • Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
  • Provide test effort estimates and contribute to test planning and strategy.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and threat intelligence.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and languages.
  • Up-to-date with industry trends and ability to apply them effectively.
