Experience:

  1. Compliance & Verification:
  • Verify the effectiveness of security controls against identified risks.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2).
Technical Skills:
  1. Core Information Security:
  • Strong understanding of security architectures, frameworks, and standards.
  • Expertise in network protocols, operating systems, applied cryptography, and identity & access management.
  • Familiarity with zero-trust principles and least privilege methodologies.
  1. Threat Modeling Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of threat modeling methodologies like STRIDE, DREAD, and PASTA.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool, OWASP Threat Dragon, and Threat Modeler.
  1. Cloud Security:
  • In-depth knowledge of securing cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Expertise in architecture & networking, CI/CD pipeline security, container security (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and secrets/data protection.
  1. Vulnerabilities & Mitigation:
  • Deep understanding of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top Ten, CVEs).
  • Practical experience in identifying and mitigating application and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  1. Compliance Knowledge:
  • Strong familiarity with regulations and compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC2.
