This is a Culture & People ownership role in a fast-growing startup. Core Responsibilities1. Hiring & Talent Acquisition — 40% Objective: Build a high-ownership, high-execution team. You will: Deeply understand Biotastic’s business (sales, ops, manufacturing, service) Translate business needs into outcome-based roles Own end-to-end hiring: JD creation (impact-driven, not generic) Sourcing (LinkedIn, referrals, local startup networks) First-round screening Interview coordination and decision tracking Run trial / sprint-based hiring wherever possible Maintain a clean hiring pipeline and hiring dashboard We care more about who someone becomes here than where they come from. 2. Performance Management, KRAs & KPIs — 25% Objective: Make performance visible and non-negotiable. You will: Work with founders and team leads to define: Role clarity KRAs Measurable KPIs Implement: Monthly performance scorecards Review rhythms Track: Output Reliability Ownership Flag underperformance early and handle it calmly and firmly Performance here is objective, visible, and non-emotional . 3. Discipline, Alignment & Ownership — 20% Objective: Ensure people do what they commit to. You will: Ensure employees clearly understand: What they own How they are evaluated Be the first line for people issues Handle: Misalignment Repeated misses Behavioural issues Reduce founder involvement in day-to-day people problems This is about protecting standards , not policing people. 4. Culture & People Systems — 15% Objective: Build culture through repeatable systems. You will: Translate founder values into: Onboarding systems Probation frameworks Feedback loops Build and maintain simple systems for: Attendance Leave Onboarding & exits Create a lean employee handbook Ensure culture scales without dilution Culture here is what gets tolerated and what doesn’t .
