Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager-Supply Chain Planning – S&OE Coordinator
Role Description: The Sales and Operations Execution Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the execution of sales and operational activities. Works closely with various departments, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and efficient execution of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinating sales activities: The coordinator works closely with the sales team to ensure timely execution of sales plans and strategies. This includes coordinating sales meetings, tracking sales performance, and providing support to the sales team as needed.
• Managing operational activities: The coordinator oversees the operational activities of the company, ensuring smooth coordination between different departments. They work closely with the operations team to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and resolve any operational issues.
• Tracking and analyzing data: The coordinator collects and analyzes sales and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. They prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the management team.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction: The coordinator collaborates with the customer service team to address customer inquiries, issues, and complaints. They work to resolve customer problems and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Communication and collaboration: The coordinator serves as a liaison between different departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. They facilitate regular meetings, disseminate information, and ensure that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
• Process improvement: The coordinator identifies opportunities for process improvement in sales and operations. They work with the relevant teams to develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Training and development: The coordinator provides training and support to the sales and operations teams, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively. They may conduct training sessions, create training materials, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
Specific Tasks to be executed:
• The S&OE coordinator considers input from planning, order management, customers, and manufacturing to schedule and promise orders in alignment to capability to manufacture and deliver.
• Manages slot process
• Provides available, claimed, requested, slot visibility to all stakeholders
• Manages escalation process
• Provides continuous updates on progress to plan
• Provides periodic health reports, KPI’s, etc.
• Facilitates accurate Order acknowledgement, scheduling and order movement to support customers
• The S&OE coordinator will use and access a variety of tools to gather information from many stakeholders. The act of coordination requires a detailed level of careful focus to directly align demand information to available supplies.
• Organization: The S&OE Coordinator will host a series of inter-related op mechs that require confident presentation and preparation and follow up skills.
• Diplomacy and customer focus. This person should be able to try to say yes to customer satisfaction, but sometimes retain the ability to say no firmly.
