Role Overview We are hiring an experienced Cyber Security Architect – PSAP to join a prestigious client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This senior-level position involves leading the design, implementation, and governance of cybersecurity architecture and frameworks in alignment with national regulatory requirements, especially SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC) . The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge , regulatory understanding , and enterprise-level architectural experience in mission-critical environments such as public safety, defense, or large-scale infrastructure programs. Roles and Responsibilities Define, design, and maintain secure enterprise architecture and security reference models. Align cybersecurity architecture with SAMA , NCA ECC , and ISO 27001 compliance requirements. Ensure secure data flows, identity and access management (IAM), and resilient system communications across critical infrastructure. Support system design reviews, threat modeling, and security risk assessments during solution development. Collaborate with internal teams (IT, SOC, Dev Ops) and third-party vendors to ensure secure solution delivery. Develop cybersecurity blueprints for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid deployments. Provide architectural leadership in security tools and domains including SIEM, DLP, IAM, endpoint protection , and firewalls . Ensure continuous compliance with KSA cybersecurity regulations through architectural assessments and audit readiness. Act as a subject matter expert during regulatory reviews, audits, and incident response simulations. Requirements Technical & Professional Skills 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity architecture , preferably with public sector, emergency services, or government entities. Proven experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in security architecture or large infrastructure cybersecurity programs. Strong expertise in: Security architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA, Zero Trust) Regulatory standards : SAMA CSF, NCA ECC, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT Network and infrastructure security , including segmentation, firewalls, and encryption protocols Security architecture for critical systems such as PSAP, SCADA, or emergency services Experience with cloud security architecture (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments. Familiarity with incident response planning , cyber risk management , and resilience engineering . Preferred Certifications SABSA / TOGAF / Open CA – Enterprise Architecture CISSP / CISM / CCSP – Cybersecurity Architecture & Governance ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor SAMA / NCA Certified Practitioner (preferred or equivalent experience) ITIL v4 Foundation Personal Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication and documentation skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Leadership qualities with the ability to drive initiatives independently. Willingness to work onsite in Riyadh and coordinate with national regulatory entities.
