Together, we will work to shape the future through innovation and continuous learning.Position Details:- Job Title: Integration Platform Architect- Function/Department: Technology- Location: (Hyderabad/Bengaluru – Work from Office)- Employment Type: Fulltime- Role OverviewKey Responsibilities:- Lead the architecture design of core global platforms across Chubb, including underwriting, integration, API, and other business and engineering platforms.- Develop strategic vision and roadmaps for platforms across Chubb.- Understand the needs of the platform client teams, and influence platform roadmaps to meet those needs.- Influence teams across the company to adopt platforms, and create patterns to make adoption easier- Develop flexible, adaptable, modular, and reusable business solution architecture designs in collaboration with business stakeholders and the engineering team that align with Chubb Enterprise Architecture standards.- Review high-level designs with the technical lead and developers, review code, enforce best practices, debug critical issues to deliver industry leading technology solutions.- Responsible for identifying technology risk and corresponding mitigation strategies.- Implement appropriate solution architecture governance processes and tools while maintaining a key focus on design patterns and technology standards.- Act as an enabler of Agile and DevOps practices in collaboration with product delivery and operation support teams.- Explore, evaluate, and promote technology innovation within the enterprise.- Evaluate, learn, and assist teams with open-source technology solutions.- Key contributor to driving the strategy and direction for the modernization of the Chubb technology portfolio.- Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or Engineering degrees preferred.- Hands on architect who is comfortable working with engineers at code/detailed design level.Required technical skills:- 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.- Coding experiences and skills preferred in Java, .Net, Python, Kafka, MQ, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, and Azure.- Ability to guide and mentor development teams on sound design and coding principles, best practices in API-based, Micro Services and Cloud environments.- Ability to work with development teams closely together to review code, recommend best practices, and mentor junior engineers.- Experience in application modularization and modernization including adoption of Micro Service Architecture models.- Experience in Integration Architectures from Service Bus to API Mediation and Event Bus models.- Ability to abstract-up to harvest patterns and articulate design decisions with senior audience (CIO level).- Knowledge and experience of insurance underwriting platform architectures is a plus.- Experience in Information Security and Risk Management- Experience in cloud solution design and implementation of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS and hybrid models- Understanding of platform design and technology considerations to build out an ecosystem for producers, clients, and internal staff.- Qualifications for Internal Candidates- Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or Engineering degrees preferred.- Hands on architect who is comfortable working with engineers at code/detailed design level.Why Chubb?At Chubb, we believe in fostering a culture that reflects integrity, inclusivity, and purpose-driven innovation.- Global Collaboration: Work on projects that have a direct impact across Chubb's global markets and serve millions of customers.- Inclusive Culture: Be part of an environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, where every voice matters, and ideas are respected.- Professional Growth: Access world-class learning, leadership programs, and development opportunities tailored to empower your career journey.- Work-Life Integration: Experience a supportive, flexible work environment that prioritizes employee well-being.- Community Responsibility: Join initiatives that drive sustainable practices and support the communities we serve, reflecting Chubb's commitment to corporate responsibility.Employee BenefitsOur company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' health, well-being, and professional growth.
