We’re looking for people who are just as passionate about solving issues with distributed systems as they are to automate, code and collaborate to tackle problems. Primary Role & Responsibilities: •You are an SRE Engineer with real interest and experience in troubleshooting BMC Helix Product issues, Databases, containers/Kubernetes, cloud technologies etc, and a proven interest and experience in using software engineering to solve operational problems.•You should be able to troubleshoot BMC Helix product issues.•Architect and implement automation to auto-remediate/self-heal issues in production.•You will participate in SRE software engineering, writing code for the continuing reduction of human intervention in operational tasks and automation of processes.•Monitor the application ecosystem, jumping on bridges and resolving the issues.•Having a good understanding of core ITSM and SRE practices and technologies.•Participate in 24x365 on-call schedules and close it within 30 Minutes. Skills & Qualifications: •Working knowledge of the latest version of BMC Products, and various migration tools along BMC Helix.•Working knowledge of SaaS, Cloud Technologies, and various Integrations•Expertise in ARS Development using ARS Forms & ARS objects - Active Links, Filters, Escalation, Active Link Guides, Filter Guides, Menus, Web Services, and Applications.•Very Good Exposure of Remedy Integrations using the latest version of Remedy APIs, ARS workflow, Integrations with SRM, Incident, Change, Work Order, and CMDB Module.•Working Knowledge of TrueSight Ops Management, Patrol, TrueSight Synthetic Monitoring, TMART, Entuity, Prometheus, Grafana, Atrium Orchestrator, etc.•Ability to work with significant deadlines for SRE & DevOps projects.•Working Knowledge of SRM, ITSM, CMDB & Remedy Architect. ITIL v3 certification is preferable.•Working Knowledge of RSSO, DWP, DWP Catalog, Smart IT, Smart Reporting, and dashboards.•Working knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DBFS, etc.•Able to design & document the requirements comprehensively to execute the Project Plans.•Ability to automate complex requirements using scripting. Very good troubleshooting skills to debug the scripts – Python & Unix Shell script etc.•Hard Working, dedicated & effective communication skills.•Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
