REMOTE (Senior) Test Engineer - Java/Selenium - Contractor in USD

For an international organization in Europe, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE Senior Test Engineer with Java and Selenium. Candidates need to have +10 years of Test Engineer with Manual and Test Automation experience and experience testing the REST services.


Candidates need to be willing to work European office hours and need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. This position is open for contractors.


Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and refinement of an automated test strategy;
  • Collaborate with CI/CD Team, using tools such as Bamboo, JIRA and GIT/Bitbucket, to integrate the automated testing in a CI/CD pipeline;
  • Ensure high test automation coverage is achieved;
  • Build regression test cases for manual and automatic testing;
  • Perform integration and load testing of delivered services/components;
  • Assist users with acceptance testing;
  • Perform functional testing;
  • Make recommendations for test process optimization and assist in the implementation of improvements;
  • Follow MIS development practices, including activity tracking with JIRA;
  • Prepare test documentation, results, and reports;


Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • +10 years of Test Engineer with Manual and Test Automation experience;
  • +2 years of REST-assured experience;
  • Manual testing: Integration, system, regression, and functional testing;
  • Functional requirements analysis/review;
  • Test design, planning, and reporting;
  • Test automation using Selenium, Playwright and/or other tools;
  • API testing with REST-assured, PostMan and other tools;
  • XML and JSON payloads;
  • Fluent in English;
