SAP Solution Architect – PP / QMExperience:12–17 YearsLocation:BengaluruDepartment:SAP PracticeOrganization:GyansysRole OverviewGyansys is seeking a highly experienced and hands-onSAP PP/QM Solution Architectto lead solution design, delivery governance, and implementation across Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules in S/4HANA environments.The role demands deep functional expertise, strong customer engagement capabilities, and the ability to drive both delivery and pre-sales initiatives.This position includesSolution & Delivery Ownership (≈75%)andPractice Development & Presales (≈25%) .Key Responsibilities1. Solutioning & Delivery Ownership (≈75%)Lead end-to-end SAP PP/QM solution architecture for greenfield, brownfield, rollout, and enhancement projects.Provide hands-on configuration inPP (Discrete, Process, Repetitive Manufacturing)andQM (Inspection, Quality Planning, Quality Notifications) .Conduct detailed requirement workshops, process mapping, blueprinting, and solution validation.Own integration design across MM, SD, EWM, PM, FI/CO, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).Define RICEFW requirements and collaborate with ABAP/BTP technical teams.Ensure solution governance, delivery quality, and adherence to SAP Activate methodology.Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT), defect triage, cutover planning, and go-live activities.Drive manufacturing process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.2. Practice Development & Presales (≈25%)Develop reusable solution accelerators, templates, and best practices for PP/QM projects.Participate in presales cycles: RFI/RFP responses, client presentations, and solution walk-throughs.Contribute to building PP/QM capability within the SAP practice, mentor consultants, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.Collaborate with Sales and Delivery Leadership in scoping, estimations, and solution proposal creation.Technical Expertise RequiredSAP PP (Production Planning)MRP, planning strategies, BOM, routing, work centersProduction orders, confirmations, capacity planningRepetitive manufacturing & process industry scenariosDemand Management, Production Scheduling & Shop Floor ExecutionIntegration with EWM/WM, QM, MM, SD, PMKnowledge of PP/DS (good-to-have)SAP QM (Quality Management)Quality Inspection, Notifications, Quality CertificatesQuality Planning, Sampling Procedures, MICs, Inspection PlansIn-process, incoming, and outgoing inspection processesQM integration with PP, MM, SD, EWM, PMAudit management and stability studies (good-to-have)Preferred SkillsStrong hands-on experience inSAP S/4HANA PP & QM .Exposure toSAP MES / MIIintegrations is an advantage.Understanding of digital manufacturing, IoT quality monitoring, and predictive quality (nice-to-have).Experience working on multi-country rollouts.Soft SkillsStrong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation abilities.Ability to lead workshops, mentor teams, and influence stakeholders.Proactive mindset with a delivery-focused approach.EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.SAP PP/QM certifications preferred.
