Job Purpose You will drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, ensuring efficient and reliable application deployment and operation. You will lead the development of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring solutions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in cloud services and operations towards achieving larger organizational objectives. Reporting Manager: Architect - Cloud DevOps Engineer This a Individual Contributor role

Roles & Responsibilities -

Infrastructure Management: Drive design, deployment, and management of scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure. Deploy and improve upon existing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation to automate provisioning. Design and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and application reliability. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Drive development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate code testing, integration, and deployment. Ensure smooth and fast delivery of applications and updates. Incident Management: Respond to and independently resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on users. Review root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues. Review and manage escalations for support for critical incidents. Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand project requirements and resolve issues. Collaborate with Development team and Security teams to ensure and implement the best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance. Provide guidance and support for deploying and managing applications in the cloud. Project Management: Manage the day-to-day activities of the DevOps team, including task assignments, workload balancing, and performance reviews, while mentoring junior members of the team.

Education & Work Experience -

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field 6 - 10 Years of experience as DevOps Engineer Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience of mentoring DevOps Engineer In-Depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, specifically Azure or AWS or other cloud platform Experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies. Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages. Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation Strong knowledge on common Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Terraform/ARM on Azure Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar technologies Proficient in Linux and typical Unix tools Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, strong abstraction capabilities and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environment.
