Role Summary:As a modeler, you'll be engaged in conducting extensive modelling and resource feasibility study for different renewable energy producers. This role provides a chance to contribute to integrating renewable energy sources into existing electricity transmission networks.

Key Tasks & Accountability:Development of wind/solar power generation models using MS excel/Python or similarAnalysis of meteorological data setsDesign of optimal site-specific measurement campaigns for wind farm sites, including cost/benefit assessments of different technologiesWind farm turbine layout and energy optimization using WindFarmer, windPRO and Openwind and solar farm layout and optimization using Homer, PVsyst, SAM etc.Experience on the feasibility study of wind and solar power plantsEnsure the quality outcome to the team member's deliverables w.r.t Onshore Wind Modelling and solar power plant modeling considering the industry standardsWork on Energy transition Systems.Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within energy systems.Work on use cases related to transition of High emitting sectors in Energy to Low/No Carbon.Keeping track on the Renewable Energy market around the globe.

Education and Experience:Domain expertise and qualifications include, but are not limited to:Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree relevant to the renewable energy, engineering, environmental science, meteorology or a related field.Should have experience of 3-5 years in Energy Sector

Skills:Good understanding of the renowned solar/wind power generation modelsDeep understanding on the meteorological data setsproblem solving and analytical skillsGood understanding of EXCEL/Python/R or any other programming languagesGood understanding on mathematical modelingKnowledge on the software like Homer/ PVsyst/SAM/ Wind Pro/Windographer/WASP/ Wind Pro etc. is desirable
