In partnership with a leading global car manufacturer, DXC Luxoft is now opening new opportunities to develop modern in-vehicle connectivity.

We offer you to join a fast-growing team, supported by highly professional Luxoft experts, in a challenging journey: creation and customization of the modern and comprehensive Android system. You'll be a key member of a cross-functional scrum team, closely work with customers, and travel to the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

As an Android Framework Developer for Android IVI, you will be involved in collaborating and developing solutions for Car Framework & V-HAL development on an embedded environment, which are robust and reusable.Develop Embedded Android services and components with AOSP middleware for IVI systemDevelop Java middleware Car services to support embedded Android applicationsDevelop HAL for Vehicle specific componentsRoot cause defects and provide robust software solutionsParticipate in design, documentation, and unit testing to develop software components

Skills

Android Development experience (AOSP) developing or enhancing Android Framework services to support Android application interfacesHands-on experience in addition to specific properties in V-HALSoftware development experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platformsExperience with AOSP internals and Android NDK APIsExperience implementing Android Native Daemon services

Nice to have

Java programming language experience 5y+C++ programming language experience 5y+Experience & knowledge of Android AutomotiveExperience in Automotive Infotainment systemsHypervisor experience, QNX OS with Guest Android OS experience
