Job Description

 
We are in need of a proficient Technical Engineer with specialized knowledge in Apple products to become part of our team. As a Technical Engineer - APPLE, you will be tasked with delivering technical support and resolutions for Apple devices and software applications.
Responsibilities:


• Provide technical assistance for end-users or customers using Apple products, including Macs, iPhones, iPads, and other Apple devices.
• Identify and resolve hardware and software issues on Apple devices, addressing concerns related to macOS, iOS, and other Apple operating systems.
• Aid in the setup, configuration, and upkeep of Apple hardware and software solutions to ensure optimal device performance.
• Troubleshoot network setups, server configurations, and cloud services associated with Apple products.
• Assist in the creation and deployment of software packages, profiles, and policies using MDM tools like JAMF, Kandji ,Intune, etc.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively in a user-friendly manner to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct training sessions for customers on Apple products and software.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including troubleshooting guides and FAQs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical issues or enhancements to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated on the latest Apple technologies, updates, and industry trends.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge.
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or a related field.
• Apple certifications such as ACMT (Apple Certified Mac Technician) or ACiT (Apple Certified iOS Technician) may be preferred.
• Proven experience in providing technical support for Apple products.
• Familiarity with macOS, iOS, and Apple software applications.
• Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Apple devices.
• Knowledge of network configurations, server setups, and cloud services related to Apple products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and your ability to think analytically.

Requirements
- Able to work independently, remotely from home and on company premises in Bangalore - Fluent in Spoken and Written English - Able to work EMEA & APAC office hours - Intermediate IT skills. - 2+ years experience working in an IT environment - Asset management experience. - Windows & MacOS operating system experience. - Knowledge of the ITIL reference model is preferable.
