ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead Commerce Architecture Solution: Lead the architectural design and implementation of Magento-based e-commerce solutions, considering scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

2. Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design scalable and high-performance e-commerce solutions on the Magento platform.

3. Marketplace Integration: Lead the integration efforts with Mirakl or other marketplace, ensuring smooth data exchange, order processing, and synchronization between Magento and Marketplace solution.

4. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices, code quality, and adherence to architectural standards.

5. Customization and Extensions: Develop custom modules and extensions for Magento to meet specific business requirements, integrating them seamlessly with the Mirakl platform.

6. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of the Magento-based e-commerce applications.

7. Code Review: Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.

8. Expert Recommendation: Evaluate third-party extensions and integrations, making recommendations based on technical feasibility and alignment with project requirements.

9. Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to Magento and Mirakl integration, providing support to the operations team when needed.

10. Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation for architecture, design, and development processes.

Requirements:

1. Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) architecting and implementing Magento-based e-commerce solutions, including Magento 2.x.

2. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

3. Proven experience as a Magento Architect with a strong focus on e-commerce solutions.

4. In-depth knowledge of Magento architecture, best practices, and customization techniques.

5. Hands-on experience with marketplace integration and understanding of MArketplace APIs.

6. Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

7. In-depth understanding of Magento architecture, including modules, themes, extensions, APIs, and integration points.

8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.

9. Experience with version control systems (Git), build tools, and deployment pipelines.

10. Strong understanding of web standards, performance optimization, and security best practices.

11. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

12. Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

13. Magento certification(s) and Mirakl certification(s) would be a plus.
