Job Title: Head – Sourcing & Procurement

Industry: Real Estate / Construction

Location: Thoraipakkam, Chennai

Reporting To: COO / Managing Director

Role Overview:

Responsible for leading procurement and sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services for real estate and construction projects. The role involves vendor management, contract negotiations, cost control, and team leadership to optimize the company's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project budgets and timelines.

Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.

Control costs, manage risks, and conduct market analysis.

Lead and mentor the procurement team while collaborating with other departments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business (MBA preferred).

12–18 years of procurement experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role in real estate/construction.

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization skills.

Knowledge of ERP/procurement systems and construction materials.
