Lead Consultant GreenplumAdmin

Responsibilities:

Experience in

GreenplumDatabase 4.2 or higherGreenplum database administration including installation of Greenplum database software,configuratio n , troubleshooting , database object creation, routine maintenance tasks.Greenplum performance monitoring and troubleshooting Familiarity with Postgres database.Greenplum Database DesignGreenplum Command CenterGreenplum Workload ManagementGreenplum Query TuningGreenplum software installationPatch upgradesPerformance monitorinChange implementationPerformance tuningBackup and recoveryUser maintenanceNew database setupTroubleshooting user issuesExperience with Greenplum Data Loading using upload/external tablesExperience in working with EMC/Pivotal SupportExperience with Production Support and working on shifts/on-call rotation.Proficiency in Unix OS and shell/perl/python scripting

Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications

Proficient in Greenplum Data Base admin tasksUnderstanding of data integration and ETL tool( Talend, PL/SQL, Pyspark etc)Basic Understanding of data engineering and data warehouse concepts and principlesFamiliarity with complex data relationships and the data mapping processGood to understand cloud environments (i.e., Snowflake, AWS S3, Azure, etc.).Team Oriented, with the ability to work without heavy oversite.Write clear, concise, and accurate documentation.Ability to learn and adopt new tools and methods.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

B Tech / B.E./MCA or any graduates in Non-Circuit BranchesMust have 60%/6.0 CGPA throughout Bachelor’s, 12th/PU and 10th Std.Must have sound knowledge of English – Any knowledge of a foreign language is a bonus.
