Job Title: SEO Executive/Analyst

Location: Mumbai, India

Company: VML India

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and identify content opportunities.
  • Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headers, URLs, schema markup, and internal linking.
  • Monitor website performance and fix technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, indexing, site speed, and mobile usability.
  • Execute off-page SEO activities including backlink building (if required) and blogger outreach.
  • Track, analyze, and report keyword rankings, organic traffic, and SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms like WordPress.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
