Silicon Frontend CAD Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with CAD.
  • Experience with production Scripts such as Python and TCL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of RTL connectivity, feedthroughs, re-partitioning, UPF, LEC.
  • Knowledge of ML-based acceleration.
  • Familiarity with constraint generation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop methodology for various front-end (design, DV, low power) tasks.
  • Work with front-end teams to understand requirements and enable scalable solutions.
  • Work across functional domains to enable development and deployment of CAD solutions.
  • Drive Electronic Design Automation (EDA) vendors to improve their tools to deliver custom solutions for Google.
  • Partner with EDA and verification teams to enable newer industry solutions.
