Location: Sanand (Gujarat), Pune (Maharashtra)

As a Cluster Manager in Logistics, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the operational efficiency of multiple logistics clusters. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and a proven track record in optimizing logistics processes. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics operations within their designated clusters, ensuring seamless coordination between various teams and stakeholders.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Key Responsibility:

Operational Oversight:Lead and oversee day-to-day logistics operations within assigned clusters.Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.Drive P&L and the KPIs defined for both outbound and inbound across DC Operations for a defined cluster.Managing operations in the with service efficiency and cost-effective manner.

Team Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing logistics team, providing guidance, coaching, and support.Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for team members.Ensure measurement and continuous improvement of productivity of staff (Blue / white collar) and maintain high levels of productivity across all shifts.

Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, transportation, and warehousing, to streamline processes and improve coordination.Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, carriers, and customers, to ensure smooth logistics operations.Monitor regimental discipline across the DC teams by focusing on attendance / shift timings and overall behaviour of the work force.Pro-actively managing the delivery of service and managing relationships with the customers at all levels.

Strategic Planning:Develop and implement strategic plans for the assigned logistics clusters, aligning with overall company goals.Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.Review, analyze and plan the operating volumes, resource & Capacity utilization so as to implement measures and means to enhance levels of performance.Drive process excellence through operational efficiency and productivity through continual enhancement of Process through Implementation of Quality Enhancement Programs/Tools.Ensure all contracts are effectively and efficiently managed to meet and exceed both the customer's requirements and those of the business.

Budget Management:Manage the logistics budget for assigned clusters, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.Analyze financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.Manage Operation with absolute control on time & cost to market with Service Level along with the DC In charges.

Risk Management & Safety:Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in logistics operations.Develop and implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.Drive safety as a process across the facilities to propagate a safety culture in the facilities.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Candidates from 3PL/ Engineering/ Equipment/ Auto industry will be preferred.B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/Elec.)/ MBA from good institute. However, comfort with data and numbers needs to be high.Proven experience 18-22 years in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on operations.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of relevant software and technology in logistics management.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Ability to travel as needed.
