Project Architect

Key Duties:? Liaison with clients including taking briefs, to ensurean understanding of the clients needs and tofacilitate successful delivery of the project? Developing the Concept Design, ensuring it meetsClient Brief, BCA and Authority Requirements, andNJA company expectations? Preparation and submission of the DevelopmentApplication, including liaison with Council andamendments thereto to achieve a successful result? Preparation of Construction Certificate andConstruction Documentation? Preparation of presentation drawings and sampleboards as required? Participation in, and management of, documentationteams as required? Managing the coordinated output of sub consultants? Continual liaison with client and consultantsthroughout the project to ensure an accurate twowayunderstanding of responsibilities andrequirements.? Site attendance and resolution of Constructionrelated issues, promptly as they occur? Checking and approving documents? Following Quality Assurance procedures to ensureour ongoing complianceKey Requirements? Degree in Architecture, with the ability to becomeRegistered with the Architects Registration Board? Good written and oral communication skills? Good working knowledge of relevant software.? Ability to run several projects simultaneously.? Maintain discretion and confidentiality? Keep Directors / Senior Project Team Leaderinformed on the progress of the work on allsignificant matters relating to or arising from theduties and functions under your control? Undertake special assignments as required? Constantly review all duties and practices. Initiateand participate in developing new & improvedmethods to meet changing needs? Keep informed of Industry Best Practices, Methodsand Materials
