Role: Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code- Practice and implement best practices in every aspect of project deliverable.- Ability to thrive under pressure & work in a fast paced, timeline-oriented environment.- Writing clean & modular code that adheres to coding standards & best practices.- Communicating with both technical & non-technical teams to ensure seamless data exchange between platforms.- Work closely with cross-functional teams, project managers & business analysts to ensure integration requirements are well defined & met.- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Requirements:

- Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field- 3+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining software solutions.- Strong hands-on development skills with Ruby on Rails.- Strong concepts on architecture and clean coding principles

Information Security and Compliance Responsibilities

- Maintain compliance with training directives required by the organization pertaining to Information Security, Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security.- Adhere to and comply with the organizations Acceptable Use Policy.- Safeguard information system assets by identifying and reporting potential and actual security events to the organizations Security and Compliance Officers.
