Title: Senior Software Architect, reports to CTO

Required experience: 8+ yrs. Worked on multiple projects on different stacks.

Location: Bangalore.

What you will do Spearhead building of the new transformation backend platform from 0 to 1 Design the software for all its stakeholders - its end-users, developers, technical and product support, and DevOps Evaluate technical/architectural options and tradeoffs. Implement proof-of-concepts. Hands-on. Create a solutions/design pattern library for similar problems and advocate them Provide technical leadership and guide development teams Setup best practices for design, coding, testing, security, monitoring, and release management Interface with cloud, and customers’ technical teams Measuring and constantly improving developer productivity Work with product managers to build application extensibility into the design Occasional project management when a project is more technical focused Occasional people management in the absence of other senior leaders

Team You will be joining the team responsible for the transformation of trading backend systems. The team's primary objective is to build the next-generation platform/trading framework for Indian and international markets. These mission-critical software have a very long shelf life and are designed ground-up for high reliability, scalability, low latency, and resilience. The engineering rigor and quality are of paramount importance in this team.

Product A SaaS platform comprising multiple services (user management, payment, transactions, high-frequency market information, market analytics, notification/messaging, big data processing, process orchestration, and many more). All services will be built as a platform or framework approach. Partners' developer teams will be able to extend product functionality as per their needs. Currently, we are actively building the team and evaluating the stack and tools suitable for the domain. Kind of early start-up phase inside of an established company.
