Key Responsibilities:· Conduct various types of patent searches using paid and free patent databases.· Draft provisional and complete patent specifications.· Prepare industry and technology specific reports using patent data.· Drafting responses to FER’s/office actions and preparing hearing responses.· Coordinate with inventors, clients, and internal stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on patent matters.· Assist in firms practice development activities.. Patent Team Management· Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant legal developments and draft law updates, blogs and other marketing material on these matters.
Qualifications and Skills:· 2 - 4 years of experience in conducting Patent searches and drafting Patent specifications· Bachelor's or advanced degree in any engineering (Preferably, Computer science, Electronics, Mechanical, and Chemical).· Must have conducted at least 20 patent searches using paid databases and drafted at least 10 complete patent specifications.· Good understanding of Indian Patent Laws, Rules and Procedures.· Excellent analytical and research skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.· Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.. Patent agent registration or a Law degree is a plus.
