Job Details:

Position: Python SDET + Networking

Experience: 5-8 Years

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Python SDET with a good understanding of networking concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automated test scripts, validating software functionality, and testing network-based applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design and develop automated test scripts using Python

 Test APIs, backend services, and network-related features

 Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases

 Create and execute test plans and test cases

 Identify bugs and work on root cause analysis

 Simulate and troubleshoot network conditions in test environments

Required Skills:

 Strong Python programming skills

 Experience with test automation frameworks (example: Pytest, Unittest, or Robot Framework)

 Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, firewalls)

 Familiarity with API testing (REST, Postman, etc.)

 Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools

Preferred Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field

 Experience in network automation or testing network appliances

 Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins
