Job Posting: IT Tech Lead – BMC Helix ITSM Developer (Certified) Location: Pune, India Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior (5+ years) Industry: IT Services & Consulting Job Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Tech Lead with BMC Helix ITSM Developer Certification to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing solutions on the BMC Helix ITSM platform. This role requires expertise in ITSM processes , customization of Helix ITSM workflows , scripting , integrations , and automation to enhance IT service management capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and customization of BMC Helix ITSM solutions to meet business needs. Design and implement workflows, forms, and automation scripts within the BMC Helix ITSM platform. Integrate BMC Helix ITSM with third-party systems via REST APIs and web services. Customize and optimize Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management processes. Implement UI/UX enhancements , data validation , and form customization in BMC Developer Studio. Develop and manage Active Links, Filters, and Escalations for workflow automation. Ensure CMDB integrity by managing integrations and data synchronization. Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to BMC Helix ITSM. Conduct performance tuning and optimization to enhance system reliability and efficiency. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement solutions. Maintain security best practices, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) , and compliance requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications BMC Helix ITSM Developer Certification (Mandatory). 5+ years of experience with BMC Helix ITSM (formerly Remedy ITSM). Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and ITSM best practices. Proficiency in BMC Developer Studio, AR System, Active Links, Filters, and Escalations. Experience with Java Script for UI customization and scripting. Hands-on experience with REST API development and web service integrations. Expertise in Service Request Management, Change Management, and Incident Management customization. Experience in data import/export, CMDB management, and system integrations. Ability to conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure system quality. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. Familiarity with cloud (Saa S) and on-premise deployments of BMC Helix ITSM. Knowledge of security best practices, auditing, and compliance within ITSM environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Dev Ops practices and version control (Git, Jenkins, etc.). Understanding of BMC Helix ITSM AI/Automation features. Knowledge of database administration (SQL, Oracle, etc.) related to Helix ITSM. Prior experience leading ITSM development teams. What We Offer Competitive salary & benefits package.
