Job Title Senior Software ArchitectJob Description

Job title:Senior Software ArchitectYour role:Ensure high quality of deliverables for Positioning softwarePropose & implement the architectural solutions in Positioning software to be future ready.Build and own architecture, technical roadmap initiatives with focus on customer needs and technological competitiveness, and keeping this outside-in approach during designsOwn architectural and technical responsibility for the Positioning software in BangaloreAuthor and review requirements and design documentsDesign and deliver the key customer needs as software solutionInterface with stakeholders for requirements understanding, architecture clarifications etc.Actively participate in project estimation, planning and risk management activities.Identify and escalate risks on timeParticipate and contribute to roadmap definition and deliveryWork closely with the System Architect / Product Architect to identify & answer important product/solution questions through prototypes or solutionsDrive technical excellence and quality improvements across the teamEnsure compliance to the Quality Management System and regulatory requirementsContribute to the quality and maintainability of our software stack which has to be maintained for a long time (10+ years).

You're the right fit if:Bachelor/Master of Engineering in the field of Computer Science/ Electronics and Communication or equivalent18+ years related work experience and at least 8 years exp. with System SW having experience working on both front-end and back-end technologies.Strong knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Design and DevelopmentStrong knowledge in Design patterns.Strong knowledge of Linux RT and Advanced C++Good experience working in Embedded softwareHealthcare domain knowledge with experience in Diagnostic or Interventional X-RaysExperience in Embedded software developmentStrong knowledge of all phases of the SDLCFamiliarity with global healthcare regulations and interpretationExpertise in development, testing and debugging skillsStrong abstraction, analytical and problem solving skillsExperience with software development methodologies such as agile (SAFE), scrum and the V-modelAbility to analyze the root cause of a problem and deliver evidence for the root cause and it side effects.Ability to find existing (legacy) code a positive challenge.Extremely good communication and presentation skillsTechnical mentorshipFast learner. Ability to grasp key concepts quickly with minimal or no supervisionAbility to take ownership of team goals and deliver with quality and within required timelineAbility to innovate and foster innovationPersonality skills to collaborate with colleagues from different teams/levels and think across functional bordersA lean/pragmatic attitude who can drive change and continuously seeks improvements and ways to reduce ‘waste
