About Our Client

Our client is an Indian manufacturing organisation, in chemicals & allied manufacturing space with a strong legacy in India. They are looking to expand the business by foraying into different customer segments.

Job Description

The individual would be required to have experience in development of new products in the Battery Application Products. He/She will be required to proactively communicate with potential customers in Lithium-Ion Battery Business Space and push for generating leads.
Additionally, you are also required to effectively coordinate internally with Development and Operations Team for effective and prompt communication with Customers/Technology Collaborators.
Your key responsibilities would be as follows -
1. Establish connect with Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturers to showcase the product portfolio in Battery Application Products and generate enquiry leads
2. Pursue the Leads for Strategic Tie-ups with Customers and Technology Collaborators
3. Coordinate signing of Confidentiality Agreements and Exchange of crucial information with Customers/Technology Collaborators
4. Coordinate with Costing Cell for Costings of Projects, discuss with Business Head and accordingly submit Offers to Customers for various Battery Application Projects
5. Oversee Complete Project Management to ensure seamless flow of information between in-house Technical Team and Customers/Technology Collaborators
6. Handle Customer/Technology Collaborators - Web Meetings/Visits/Audits/Inspections/Commissioning Schedules etc.

The Successful Applicant

As the ideal candidate, you should be a BE / BTech / MTech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 20+ years of total experience.
Ideal candidate will be from Battery/Automotive/Engineering Industry having experience in relevant field and having good communication and problem-solving skills.
You should have experience of leading a P&L for greenfield project from scratch & good industry contacts within lithium battery manufacturing industry in order to lead & grow a P&L
