Job Summary: Nalanda Degree College is seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer (Electronics) to join its growing department. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, developing course curricula, and fostering a love for electronics in students.
Job Description:
Deliver comprehensive and engaging electronics curriculum.
Foster a deep understanding of electronic principles and their practical applications.
Prepare students for successful careers in electronics and related fields.
Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the Lecturer (Electronics) will include the following:
Curriculum Delivery:
Design and execute interactive electronics lectures and lab sessions on various topics, including:
Basic Electronics
Digital Electronics
Analog Electronics
Microprocessors and Microcontrollers
Communication Systems
VLSI Design
Embedded Systems
Circuit Theory
Signal Processing
Power Electronics
Electronic Instrumentation
Lesson Planning:
Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with university guidelines and industry standards.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in electronics and integrate them into the curriculum.
Student Assessment:
Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and exams; maintain accurate academic records.
Classroom Management:
Maintain discipline and foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
Parental Engagement:
Engage with parents/guardians as needed to discuss student progress and address concerns.
Professional Development:
Pursue continuous professional development and engage in collaborative research with colleagues.
Contribute to the overall development of the electronics department.
Qualifications: To be considered for the position of Lecturer (Electronics), the candidate must have the following qualifications:
Founder Level:
1-3 years of experience in teaching electronics, Master’s degree in Electronics or related field, and B.Ed.
Master Level:
4-8 years of experience, Master’s degree in Electronics or related field, and B.Ed or M.Ed.
Developer Level:
9+ years of experience, Master’s degree in Electronics or related field, and M.Ed or Ph.D.
Additional Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (M.Tech, M.Sc. Electronics).
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in electronics at the undergraduate level (preferred).
Maximum of 10 to 15 years of relevant teaching or industry experience (desirable).
Strong foundation in electronic principles and related disciplines.
Working knowledge of advanced electronic concepts (a plus).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Key Skills:
Basic and Digital Electronics: Proficiency in teaching fundamental and digital electronics concepts.
Analog Electronics: Understanding of analog electronics and circuit design.
Microprocessors and Microcontrollers: Knowledge of microprocessor and microcontroller systems.
Communication Systems: Expertise in communication systems and signal processing.
VLSI and Embedded Systems: Skills in VLSI design and embedded systems.
Power Electronics: Proficiency in power electronics and related technologies.
Electronic Instrumentation: Knowledge of electronic measurement and instrumentation.
Curriculum Development: Experience in designing and developing structured lesson plans.
Student Assessment: Ability to evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and exams.
Classroom Management: Skills in maintaining discipline and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage effectively with students.
Presentation Skills: Proficiency in delivering clear and engaging lectures.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and integrate new technologies and teaching methods.

Screening Process:
Written Test: Subject-specific exam in electronics.
Proficiency Test: Assessment of MS Office skills.
Reading Test: Conducted via Microsoft Teams.
