About the Role
We are looking for a software engineer keen to join a global team composed of in-house and external specialist developers within a fast-paced, highly dynamic group, committed to continuous improvement and adoption of best practices. Working closely with an existing group of Developers, Architects, DevOps Engineers and Analysts, the software engineer will develop, implement, and optimize the products.
Responsibilities:
Proficiency with data manipulation languages.
Ability to work with simple data models.
Research, learn and apply mindset, ‘go getter’ personality.
ML Engineer, with keen interest on Generative AI e.g; OpenAI, foundational models such as Llama2, Mistral, Anthropic.
Strong knowledge, past projects with classical approach to ML(regression, classification, clustering, forecasting)
Knowledge/exposure to MLOps/LLMOPs
Some experience with Cloud technologies is preferred.
Awareness and some demonstratable experience with good Software Engineering principles, preferably with Python Experience of deploying/scaling ML/LLM models is highly valued.
Experience with Databricks and/or Azure ML is highly valued.
Good communication skills, ability to express himself/herself in verbal and written manner.
Requirements:
Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
Complete simple bug fixes.
Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
Resolve technical issues as necessary.
Keep abreast of new technology developments.
All other duties as assigned.
