Job Description :


- Participate in all product design and engineering meetings to understand the scope and nature of the features and contribute to the solution design and technical approach

- Have a deep understanding of the current technical architecture or the product and be able to quickly add or enhance feature sets to the software

- Identify areas of improvement on the technical architecture and define potential technical debt to be fixed or rebuilt during development resource availability

- Prioritize deliverables from a technical perspective according to business requirements and technical capabilities

- Understand the product roadmap and infrastructure future stage in order to contribute to the execution and delivery plan

- Work closely with developers, QA, designers, and DevOps in order to ensure all team members have the ability to deliver their technical task on time and with the higher quality

- Lead investigation of defects and bugs reported by business or customers and work with the technical team in order to find remedies and implement the fix according to severity and priority

- Code review of all product released to ensure consistency, code standards, and quality is governed in the software development cycle

- To be accountable for deploying code to staging and production environments and all product releases

Technology Skills :

- Excellent software development skills on PHP and LAMP stack with deep understanding of CodeIgniter framework

- Extensive experience with relational databases including MySQL

- Familiarity with mobile app development and REST APIs development

- Experience with cloud computing specially on the AWS Infrastructure stack : EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Route53, SES, SMS, SQS, Lambda

- Experience with messaging queues and application logging

- Experience in agile software development teams (ref:hirist.tech)
