Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management:

  • Oversee daily operations on the construction or maintenance site.

  • Ensure that all work is performed according to project specifications, plans, and industry standards.

  • Manage site logistics, including scheduling and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or safety concerns.

  • Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Team Supervision:

  • Supervise and manage site personnel, including workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and resolving conflicts.

  • Monitor and evaluate worker performance and productivity.

  • Quality Control:

  • Inspect work to ensure it meets the required quality standards and specifications.

  • Address and rectify any issues or defects in workmanship.

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

  • Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as the main point of contact between the project manager, clients, and other stakeholders.

  • Communicate project updates, progress, and any issues that arise.

  • Coordinate with other departments or teams as needed to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain site documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and progress reports.

  • Manage inventory and order materials as needed.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project status, including any delays or issues encountered.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certifications are preferred.

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within construction or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
