Job Title: Assistant Manager - Accounts
Location: Kolkata
Department: Accounts & Finance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager - Accounts to oversee financial reconciliations, expense monitoring, and compliance-related activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciling accounts, and assisting in various audits and financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Banking & Reconciliation:
- Prepare and update Bank Reconciliation Statements for all company-owned bank accounts.
- Book GST Input against invoices issued by banks.
- Reconcile Registration Fees collected by the entity.
- Accounting & MIS:
- Match intercompany balances and prepare MIS reports .
- Reconcile Wages and Bonus/Exgratia bookings with accounting entries.
- Expense & Advance Monitoring:
- Check Tour Settlements for discrepancies.
- Review Advances given to employees against expenses and identify discrepancies.
- Verify Disputed Advances and ensure proper allocation of expenses to cost centers.
- Financial Compliance & Reporting:
- Perform Interest Calculations for NSDC on a quarterly basis.
- Prepare Balance Confirmations of NSDC .
- Prepare Stock Statements for submission to banks.
- Documentation & Support:
- Handle Digital Signature Certificates (DSC) in various documents and NIFM client bills.
- Assist leadership in various financial and allied tasks as required.

Key Skills & Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: CA Inter/MBA (Finance)/M.Com/B.Com with relevant experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in Accounts, Financial Reconciliation, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, GST, and MIS reporting .
- Hands-on experience with Tally, SAP, or other accounting software .
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial reporting, and compliance requirements .
- Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Ability to work independently and support senior management in decision-making.
