Role Details

Seeking a dynamic and experienced ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Head to lead the implementation, optimization, and management of ERP systems across the organization. The ERP Head will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of ERP solutions to streamline business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive strategic decision-making.


Responsibilities:

ERP Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive ERP strategy aligned with Company's business objectives.
  • Assess current ERP systems, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements or upgrades to meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define ERP project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

ERP Implementation and Integration:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of ERP systems, including requirements gathering, vendor selection, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure seamless integration of ERP modules with existing systems and applications.
  • Oversee data migration and cleansing activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ERP system.

System Optimization and Maintenance:

  • Continuously monitor ERP system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Implement best practices and workflows to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of ERP processes.
  • Proactively address system issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and coordinate with IT teams or vendors for resolution.

User Training and Support:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate end-users on ERP functionality, features, and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to facilitate smooth adoption and utilization of ERP systems.
  • Develop user documentation, manuals, and FAQs to assist users in navigating the ERP platform.

Data Governance and Security:

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Implement robust security measures to safeguard ERP data against unauthorized access, breaches, or cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in ERP systems and business process management.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and automation within ERP processes to drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive business transformation initiatives.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 to 15 years) in ERP implementation, administration, and support, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar platforms.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Relevant certifications in ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) would be an advantage.
