Technical Buyer- Procurement (IT Infrastructure, Global) Location: Department: Procurement Reports To: Procurement Manager We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive – Procurement with strong expertise in global procurement of IT infrastructure products and services . The role requires end-to-end procurement handling – from RFQ/RFP to PO creation, vendor management, cost negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery to support business-critical IT infrastructure projects across global regions. Procurement Operations: Manage end-to-end procurement process for IT hardware, software, networking, cloud services, and related IT infrastructure. Onboard new suppliers as per compliance and update vendor databases/OEM sheets. Ensure procurement complies with global policies, tax norms, and legal requirements. Partner with IT, Finance, and Project Teams to understand requirements and deliver within agreed timelines. Track procurement cycle times, supplier performance (SLA adherence), and cost savings. Strong knowledge of IT products & services (Servers, Storage, Laptops, Networking, Security, Cloud subscriptions, Software licenses). Experience in global procurement operations (multi-region, multi-currency). Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Odoo, etc.) and MS Excel. Qualifications & Experience: ~ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, IT, or related field (BE preferred). ~5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3+ years in IT infrastructure/global sourcing .
