BuildAmbit combines deep industry expertise with cutting-edge learning to upskill the AEC talent ecosystem.Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven SEO Specialist who will own our organic search performance end-to-end. This role requires strong technical understanding, content optimization skills, and strategic planning to drive website traffic, improve rankings, and grow organic leads for BuildAmbit.Key Responsibilities 1. SEO Strategy & Execution Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with brand and business goals.Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search trend studies.Identify and target high-intent keywords for content creation and optimization.2. On-Page & Off-Page Optimization Optimize website structure, URLs, meta tags, schema, and internal linking.Build a high-quality backlink strategy through outreach and collaborations.Ensure all pages follow SEO best practices and maintain high content quality.3. Technical SEO Monitor and fix crawl issues, indexing errors, page-speed issues, and site health.Work closely with the Tech team to ensure SEO-friendly development.Implement structured data, canonical tags, sitemaps, and technical enhancements.4. Content SEO & Collaboration Work with content and design teams to ensure SEO-first content creation.Provide insights and recommendations for blogs, landing pages, and course pages.Maintain keyword maps and optimize existing content for ranking improvements.5. Reporting & Analytics Track rankings, traffic, CTR, conversions, and overall organic performance.Use tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.Present monthly performance reports to the Head of Marketing.Requirements Experience 2–5 years of proven SEO experience (preferably in edtech or content-heavy industries).Strong understanding of search algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.Skills & Competencies Proficiency in SEO tools: GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.Deep understanding of technical SEO, content SEO, and user intent mapping.Experience in optimizing websites for lead generation and conversions.Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and WordPress/Webflow (preferred).Personality Traits Detail-obsessed and highly analytical.Growth-oriented with a constant optimization mindset.Proactive, organized, and able to work independently.Why Join BuildAmbit?
