Job Summary:
We're seeking a skilled Java J2EE Developer to join a top-tier global MNC - Information Technology (IT) services and Consulting industry. They provide services such as software development, business consulting, and IT outsourcing to clients across various sectors, including finance, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions, enhancing enterprise applications and working with cutting-edge technologies. Collaborate with a dynamic, diverse team while driving key business transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Development:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable, and secure web-based applications using Java, J2EE, and associated frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
2. System Architecture:
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications and web services (RESTful or SOAP).- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and use of best practices in software development, such as design patterns, object-oriented programming (OOP), and MVC architecture.- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the product, working closely with architects and senior developers.
3. Database Management:
- Work with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and JPA (Java Persistence API) or Hibernate for database interactions.
4. API and Integration:
- Design and implement APIs for integration with internal and external systems.- Work with third-party APIs, integrating with external services, and optimizing the interoperability of systems.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) is preferred.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with API gateways and message brokers.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices.
