Role & responsibilities :

1) Proper monitoring of emergency equipment like Fire Hydrant, Fire Extinguisher, Smoke Detector and Sprinkler System.

2)Proper monitoring of ETP Operation.

3) Hazardous waste disposal and handling.

4) Biochem medical waste disposal and handling.

5) Liasoning with govt. Official like WBPCB, CPCB, Director of Factory, Fire NOC, Return Fillup Hazardous waste and Environmental statement, CTO, CTE etc.

6) Have negotiation with vendor for purchase, Indent raising, Coordination with accounts department for Work order.

7) Training skills.

8) Coordination during a Mock Drill.

9) Work permit issuance and execution of work.

10) Preparation of Risk Assessment with HIRA team, HAZOP, Aspect - Impact.

11) Office file management.

12) Tracing and tracking of Safety Observation, Unsafe act and conditions, Near miss.

13) PPE's stock management.

14) First Aid box monitoring.

15) Any injury or accident reporting.

16) Pest control management.

17) Monitoring of third party reports like Air, water, Noise, Stack, OEQMS, Earthing, Pressure vessel, Lifting equipment.
