Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Hyderabad

Reports to: Project Manager

Position Information

Job Summary: The Business Systems Analyst works with project leads and other IT divisions and performs user liaison functions to develop business requirements during all phases of project lifecycles for various scale projects assigned to the Information Technology Department. Recommends functional requirements and enhancements to be made to programs.


Qualification requirements: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 5 +years of experience


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mediates and facilitates communication and coordination between the business stakeholders, Information Technology staff, and vendors in gathering, documenting and developing business/functional requirements and specifications.
  • Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. Determines if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
  • Conducts analysis to document shortcomings of the existing system and evaluate benefits of the new system using requirements analysis techniques, and provides recommendations, as appropriate.
  • Creates business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
  • Gathers data and analyzes business and users need to gain a thorough understanding of product requirements.
  • Overseas and directs Developers and Applications Systems Analyst during the project execution to ensure all expectations and interests are properly communicated.
  • Captures the requirements to solve business problems by understanding existing systems and working closely with stakeholders.
  • Analyzes business process flows and anticipates potential operational problems. Assesses and recommends how to incorporate automated solutions as possible resolutions.
  • Ensures that the products, changes, and enhancements being requested are in accordance with company standards and that they support company strategic plans.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.
