Role: Veeva Tech Lead
Description:
You will be responsible for:
Defining and executing the strategic direction of the Veeva practice, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
Developing and nurturing client relationships, understanding their business challenges, and positioning Veeva solutions to address their needs.
Overseeing Veeva project delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
Managing the Veeva practice P&L, including setting financial targets, budgeting, and ensuring profitability.
Leading business development activities, including proposals, demos, and presentations to prospective clients.
Steering continuous improvement within the practice through the adoption of new Veeva features and capabilities.
Ensuring the team's compliance with all regulatory and compliance mandates specific to the life sciences industry.
Representing the company at Veeva forums, conferences, and networking events.
Collaborating with the Veeva partnership team to stay abreast of product roadmaps and updates.
Providing mentorship and career development pathways for team members within the practice.
Desired Skill sets:
Deep technical proficiency in Veeva's suite, including CRM, Vault, and Network, with the ability to architect solutions that align with complex client requirements.
Expertise in the life sciences domain, including understanding regulatory environments like FDA regulations, EMA guidelines, and GDPR compliance.
Experience in digital transformation projects within pharmaceuticals or biotech industries, with a focus on Veeva systems.
Advanced project management skills with certifications like PMP or PRINCE2.
Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and control project costs.
Proficient in change management and organizational design to lead practice transformation initiatives.
Strategic planning skills with the ability to set long-term goals and define KPIs for the Veeva practice.
Experience in talent management including hiring, training, and professional development of team members.
Strong negotiation skills for vendor and partner management.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with IT, sales, and marketing departments.
